Steam traps

Steam traps, also called condensate traps, drain steam lines and processes from condensate in the form of water or non-condensable gases. The condensate is led to either a feed tank for recycling or to a secondary low-pressure system so that the last heat in the condensate can be recovered.

These automatic valves open for condensate at positive differential pressure and close for steam. A steam trap can also evacuate non-condensable gases, but drains out the condensate.

We also service our steam traps and can assist with spare parts when needed.
